Slowly getting back into it

It’s hard the think that around four years ago, I was cycling at least three times a week. I was doing some form of exercise six days a week.

With my son in nursery, it seems like there hasn’t been a week when one of us wasn’t ill, coughs, colds, infections! Constantly something.

The fact that I now work from home also contributes to my lack of exercise. Before I would get up early and drive to work dressed and ready to either bike or run, when I got to the office I had two choices, either exercise or start work early. Exercise was the easy choice ;)

I’ve been living in the middle of the countryside for a year now and I have barely explored the area, so this morning was amazing

It’s a beautiful area, quite roads, lots of hills (I’ll take photos next time)

It’s a great feeling, it was hard, I’m seriously unfit and overweight

Ouch, that is a lot of extra fat! Dadbod level completed.

Anyway, time to sort the diet out and do more exercise.

The bike ride this morning was great. Nice weather, no traffic, so peaceful.

I really need to keep this up!
